Well the sleepover went well over all. It took Dom forever to go to sleep and I think he drove poor Ezra crazy. In other news our basement got flooded in the storm yesterday. Thankfully not only was there little damage but we got it all cleaned up and found the leak. Once things dry a bit we'll be sealing up the leak.
Now onto my new fabulous going to lose the weight plan:
Step 1: Goals - still going!
Step 2: Accountability - I am that I am
Step 3: Music - Postal Services makes the world go round.
Step 4: Weigh Self REGULARLY! - I keep fluctuating up and down that 0.4 lbs, unfortunately it's up today.
Step 5: Track Exercise/Day - 26 minutes of jogging on the Wii fit and 150 crunches so far. It's still morning though so we'll see what the day has in store for me.
Now, the next step in my daily step plan?
Step 6: Positive Thoughts! - Keeping positive is so important to any lifestyle change and really to life in general. So I'm going to make it one of my goals to say something positive about me and my life every day. Not only will this encourage me to keep on track, but it will also hopefully help to build a more positive self image. Today's positive thought? I CAN do this. I am more than capable of sticking to an exercise plan and I like exercise. I CAN and WILL lose the weight I want and be the person I want to be.
Now that I have that positive gushy stuff out of the way here is me being accountable for the things I did right and wrong yesterday.
Let's start with the wrong:
1 lg. tootsie roll, 1 small tootsie roll, 1 laffy taffy
3 pieces of chicken and feta pizza, 4 half bread sticks
way too much soda
2 glasses of white zin
cinnamon toast crunch for breakfast
So all of that is a high calorie mess and these high calorie problems are definitely interfering with my weight loss. This will be one of my next steps to nip that in the bud but for now being more aware is helping and I want to make these changes slowly so they stick!
What did I do right?
kept up my exercising
met my calorie goals on the Wii fit
drank more water than normal
did some heavy lifting while search for damage and cleaning up the leak
had a healthy snack of low fat wheat thins, low fat turkey pepperoni, and 2 slices of cheese.
had a healthy lunch of sliced peppered turkey an 1 slice of cheese on a sandwich thin.
Overall even though I haven't lost anything yet this new go around I'm feeling better and healthy and happier. However, it seems that John and the boys are having some bathtime troubles so I'm off to see if I can help.

you can do it. remember your going to build muscle with all that exercise, I wish I had the heart to do crunches, to work on my fat belly as dommie put it :)
